Our Recomendations

These will be based on:

1. Getting your lawn to your desired standard

Our recommendation will be made to get your lawn to a desired standard. We often make recommendations for Good, Better and Best options in this first year.

Our experience of best is to include “Lawn Renovate”, this includes mechanical Aeration, Scarification, Over Seeding 100% of the lawn and Soil Improver to aid germination.

During the first twelve months we will be focusing on your lawn plan and treatments booked following our survey visit to build up lawn strength and manage weeds and moss. Regular cutting will not only slow down growth, but also encourages a thicker sward.

2. Keeping your rejuvenated lawn looking great

Based on our experience of Nottinghams lawns and soil conditions we promote Annual Care to keep the lawn tip top.

Mechanical treatments may be restricted by machine access

Our Treatments simplified:

Customers often say that lawn care is daunting, so we've created simple programes to make maintaining your lawn as easy as 1,2,3. We call them Starter, Improver, Lover, Emerald and Connoisseur.

• Starter - our 5 visits basic plan.
• Improver - our standard plan. Give your lawn the extra boost, improves your lawns health and drought tolerance.
• Lover  "Recommended" - Ensures your lawn stays greener, weed free and healthier for longer. Our 100% natural Soil Enrichment programme is the health shake your lawn would ask for.
• Emerald "Our recommendation" - Our Lover programme plus Let the Lawn Breathe. Encouraging deeper rooting.
• Connoisseur "Desirable"- Everything the lawn needs, just requires cutting.

Mechanical treatments

At Greener Gardens we have transformed many lawns, we know what works and how to achieve the best results.

Beneficial mechanical treatments are a great way to keep your lawn tip top!

• Let your lawn breathe (Aeration) - We normally complete either soild tine aeration plus Soil Improver.
• Lawn Refresh (Scarification) - We complete Scarification, Over Seed plus Soil Improver. Why not add hollow tine aeration aka The Works
• Lawn Renovation (The Works) - We complete Hollow Tine Aeration, Scarification, Over Seed plus Soil Improver.

For best results, we recommend that the lawn physical conditions are "Reset" in the first 12 months, followed by annual aeration included in the 'Improver' and 'Emerald' programmes.

Access for machines need to be greater than 71cm (28 inches), if no access is available the Let the Lawn Breathe (aeration) treatment will be subsitued for two annual soil improver treatments.
