Greener Gardens 5 Step Plan

Step 1 – Initial On Line Estimate

We believe that our prices are competitive. As a local independent business, we are forward thinking with a personal and meticulous approach, our treatment programmes have been designed using professional products by the UK's leading agronomists and are based around our local conditions, so you get great results.

We will make contact to ensure:

  1. We have identified the correct property;
  2. We have measured the correct areas;
  3. Ensure the services we offer, match your requirements.

If the above are all yes, we will would be delighted to schedule a visit to complete the initial lawn survey, make our recommendations and complete the first lawn treatment on the same visit.

Step 2 - Schedule a Survey

We will schedule and would propose to complete our lawn survey and first lawn treatment on the same visit.

We will send details of our estimated arrival time and suggested reading to help you get the best from our visit.

About your survey

It would be good if you are at home on this visit for us to get an understanding of why you have called us, your requirements and concerns, more importantly to discuss what you would like to achieve.

Our recommendations will be based on your requirements and concerns, and more importantly, what you would like to achieve. Our years of industry experience, proven past results, ongoing training and product investment, will be used to create a bespoke programme for your lawn.

When we call, we will complete a full review of thatch levels, soil compaction and overall conditions. Our recommendations will be based on getting it to a standard based around your requirements, this is normally achieved during the first calender year of treatments where recommondations are completed.

These will be based on:

Stage 1.  Getting your lawn to your desired standard

Our recommendation will be made to get your lawn to your desired standard.

From past experience completing “Lawn Renovation” this includes mechanical Aeration, Scarification, Over Seeding and Soil Improver to aid germination, is the great way to rejuvenate without the expense of a new lawn.

During the first twelve months, when we call our team will be focusing on your lawn plan to build up lawn strength and manage weeds and moss.

All you need to do is to complete regular cutting, you can follow our lawn cutting guides, this will not only slow down growth, but also encourage a thicker greener sward.

Stage 2. Keeping the lawn looking great

Our Emerald Lawn programme which includes 'Soil Enrichment' and 'Let the lawn breathe' will deliver great result and is our recommended annual programme.

Our default standard plan is Lawn Improver.

We schedule this programme as an annual treatment.

Lawncare Tip - Regular cutting of your lawn will encourage a thicker sward, naturally limiting weeds plus Its a double win, not only will the lawn look great, its good for the environment.

Step 3 – Your Treatment plan

On our visits we will review progress and make recommendations for ongoing treatments. We understand grass roots are vital for success recomendations are aimed at continued improvement to the lawn and its root structure. .

Step 4 – Hard Surface Care

We offer hard surface clean and weed solutions for drives and patios.  Choose from Drive Revitalise for cleaning without pressure washing or Cleanse, Protect or Pristine.

Step 5 – Service Excellence

Communication is one part of our service package, our preferred method of service communications is email, however, we are also available on the phone if you prefer to talk directly.

Below is our communication process:

  1. After the survey you will receive
  • A welcome wallet containing a hard copy of our finding and recommendations.
  • Supporting information e.g. Lawn care guide and newsletter.
  • An electronic quotation with suggested treatments, during the changing seasons.
  1. Before each treatment visit you will receive
  • Pre Service calls – 21 days advance notice with a morning or afternoon guideline.
  • 10 day confirmation – includes a detailed time slot plus treatment benefits, preparation notes and seasonal cutting advice.
  • Finally, a 3 day reminder – as above, but also includes an updated time slot.
  1. After treatment you will receive
  • An invoice, or if your treatment is pre paid an advice note.
  • A lawn condition & feedback report of how we feel the lawn is progressing, as well as recommendations on maximising your lawns potential.
  • After a few weeks, we will send a communication to make sure the treatment has met your expectations.
